All 11 Bolivian players had a large letter painted on the front of their jersey. When the players were lined up correctly, the phrase VIVA URUGUAY was read. Lara stood first. Mendez was the last in the `first word'. The first letter U was for Gomez, the second one for Argote. The one with the A in the `second word' was Fernandez. Since Gomez dropped out due to injury, when photographing again, the phrase VIVA URUGAY turned out to be not entirely correct.
